Managing Risk

Managing risk is the number one priority at Glacier. Before we do a job we do a pre site inspection to get the schematics of the area.

De-Icing

Once the snow removal is complete, our state of the art deicing process begins. Glacier uses only environmentally friendly products instead of sand that pollutes the area. Come spring time, there is no mess and no clean up associated with sand. The salt we use is pre-wet so that it begins to melt the ice as soon as it hits the ground. Using the information from the pre site inspection, we calculate the exact

amount of salt and liquid per square yard to adequately complete the job. The salt we use at Glacier works in harsh weather up to 20 degrees below..
